Playing Against

We’ll be back in the fall!


Playing Against began in January 2025 to produce staged readings of plays and other events that repudiate, ridicule, or otherwise resist MAGA. This effort is being accomplished by an all-volunteer network of individuals, and all proceeds go to like-minded organizations who are doing the real work to defeat MAGA.

So far, we‘ we‘ve responsible for more than $6,500 in donations.

Our beneficiaries to date are the American Civil Liberties Union, Democracy Forward, Public Citizen, Free DC, the 10 Steps campaign, and Common Cause.
